And He saidto them, "Whyis it that you were lookingfor Me? Did you not knowthat I hadto be in My Father's[house]?"
"For I have come downfrom heaven,not to doMy ownwill,but the willof Him who sentMe.
"And He who sentMe is with Me; He has not leftMe alone,for I alwaysdothe things that are pleasingto Him."
"Behold,I am going to sendMy messenger,and he will clearthe waybeforeMe. And the Lord,whomyou seek,will suddenlycometo His temple;and the messengerof the covenant,in whomyou delight,behold,He is coming,"saysthe LORDof hosts.
Jesussaidto them, "My foodis to dothe willof Him who sentMe and to accomplishHis work.
I delightto doYour will,O my God;Your Lawis withinmy heart."
When they sawHim, they were astonished;and His mothersaidto Him, "Son,whyhave You treatedus this way?Behold,Your fatherand I have been anxiouslylookingfor You."
But He answeredthem, "My Fatheris workinguntilnow,and I Myselfam working."
And Jesusenteredthe templeand droveout allthosewho were buyingand sellingin the temple,and overturnedthe tablesof the money changersand the seatsof thosewho were sellingdoves.
"We mustworkthe worksof Him who sentMe as longas it is day;nightis comingwhenno onecanwork.
"But the testimonywhich I haveis greaterthan [the testimony of] John;for the workswhichthe Fatherhas givenMe to accomplish--the veryworksthat I do--testifyaboutMe, that the Fatherhas sentMe.
