I have moreinsightthanallmy teachers,For Your testimoniesare my meditation.
He cameto His hometownand [began] teachingthem in their synagogue,sothat they were astonished,and said,"Where[did] this man [get] thiswisdomand [these] miraculous powers?
When the crowdsheard[this], they were astonishedat His teaching.
WhenJesushad finishedthesewords,the crowdswere amazedat His teaching;
They were amazedat His teaching;for He was teachingthem as [one] havingauthority,and not as the scribes.
The chief priestsand the scribesheard[this], and [began] seekinghowto destroyHim; for they were afraidof Him, for the wholecrowdwas astonishedat His teaching.
When the Sabbathcame,He beganto teachin the synagogue;and the manylistenerswere astonished,saying,"Wheredid this man [get] these things,and whatis [this] wisdomgivento Him, and suchmiraclesas theseperformedby His hands?
And allwho heardit wonderedat the things which were toldthem by the shepherds.
Then,afterthreedaysthey foundHim in the temple,sittingin the midstof the teachers,bothlisteningto them and asking them questions.
And allwere speaking wellof Him, and wonderingat the graciouswordswhich were fallingfrom His lips;and they were saying,"Is thisnot Joseph'sson?"
and they were amazedat His teaching,for His messagewas with authority.
The Jewsthenwere astonished,saying,"Howhas this manbecome learned,having neverbeen educated?"
The officersanswered,"Neverhas a manspokenthe way thismanspeaks."
