"In the same way,I tellyou, there is joyin the presenceof the angelsof Godoveronesinnerwho repents."
"Do I haveanypleasurein the deathof the wicked,"declaresthe LordGOD,"ratherthanthat he should turnfrom his waysand live?
"For I havenopleasurein the deathof anyone who dies,"declaresthe LordGOD."Therefore, repentand live."
"Sayto them, 'As I live!'declaresthe LordGOD,'I takenopleasurein the deathof the wicked,but ratherthat the wickedturnfrom his wayand live.Turnback,turnbackfrom your evilways!Whythen will you die,O houseof Israel?'
"ThereforeeveryonewhoconfessesMe beforemen,I will alsoconfesshim beforeMy Fatherwho is in heaven.
"Seethat you do not despiseoneof theselittle ones,for I sayto you that their angelsin heavencontinuallyseethe faceof My Fatherwho is in heaven.
"Soit is not [the] willof your Fatherwho is in heaventhat oneof theselittle onesperish.
"And I sayto you, everyonewhoconfessesMe beforemen,the Sonof Manwill confesshim alsobeforethe angelsof God;
but he who deniesMe beforemenwill be deniedbeforethe angelsof God.
"I tellyou, no,but unlessyou repent,you will alllikewiseperish."
And He said,"A manhadtwosons.
"I tellyou that in the same way,there will be [more] joyin heavenoveronesinnerwho repentsthanoverninety-ninerighteous personswhoneednorepentance.
"When she has foundit, she calls togetherher friendsand neighbors,saying,'Rejoicewith me, for I have foundthe coinwhichI had lost!'
"For thisreasonI sayto you, her sins,which are many,have been forgiven,for she lovedmuch;but he whois forgivenlittle,loveslittle."
When they heardthis,they quieted downand glorifiedGod,saying,"Well then,Godhas grantedto the Gentilesalsothe repentance[that leads] to life."
But duringthe nightan angelof the Lordopenedthe gatesof the prison,and takingthem out he said,
For the sorrowthat is accordingto [the will] [of] Godproducesa repentancewithout regret,[leading] to salvation,but the sorrowof the worldproducesdeath.
For perhapshe was for thisreasonseparated[from you] for a while,that you would have him backforever,
Are they not allministeringspirits,sentout to render servicefor the sakeof thosewho willinheritsalvation?
