"NeverthelessI mustjourneyon todayand tomorrowand the next[day]; for it cannotbe that a prophetwould perishoutsideof Jerusalem.
"Behold,we are goingup to Jerusalem;and the Sonof Manwill be deliveredto the chief priestsand scribes,and they will condemnHim to death,
And the crowdswere saying,"Thisis the prophetJesus,from Nazarethin Galilee."
But they did not receiveHim, becauseHe was travelingtowardJerusalem.
ThereforeJesusno longercontinued to walkpubliclyamongthe Jews,but went awayfrom thereto the countrynearthe wilderness,into a citycalledEphraim;and thereHe stayedwith the disciples.
Jesusanswered,"Are therenot twelvehoursin the day?Ifanyonewalksin the day,he does not stumble,becausehe seesthe lightof thisworld.
SoJesussaidto them, "For a littlewhilelongerthe Lightis amongyou. Walkwhileyou havethe Light,sothat darknesswill not overtakeyou; he who walksin the darknessdoes not knowwherehe goes.
Jesussaidto them, "My foodis to dothe willof Him who sentMe and to accomplishHis work.
"We mustworkthe worksof Him who sentMe as longas it is day;nightis comingwhenno onecanwork.
"[You know of] Jesusof Nazareth,howGodanointedHim with the HolySpiritand with power,and [how] He went aboutdoing goodand healingallwho were oppressedby the devil,for Godwas with Him.
"For thosewho livein Jerusalem,and their rulers,recognizingneither Him northe utterancesof the prophetswhich are readeverySabbath,fulfilled[these] by condemning[Him].
