"For lifeis morethan food,and the bodymorethan clothing.
When they had broughtthem outside,one said,"Escapefor your life!Do not lookbehindyou, and do not stayanywherein the valley;escapeto the mountains,oryou will be sweptaway."
Then the LORDsaidto Satan,"Behold,allthat he has is in your power,onlydo not putforthyour handon him." So Satandepartedfrom the presenceof the LORD.
Satanansweredthe LORDand said,"Skinfor skin!Yes, allthat a manhas he will givefor his life.
So the LORDsaidto Satan,"Behold,he is in your power,onlysparehis life."
The ransomof a man'slifeis his wealth,But the poorhearsnorebuke.
And He saidto His disciples,"For thisreasonI sayto you, do not worryabout[your] life,[as to] whatyou will eat;norfor your body,[as to] whatyou will puton.
"Considerthe ravens,for they neithersownorreap;they have nostoreroomnorbarn,and [yet] Godfeedsthem; how muchmorevaluableyou are than the birds!
When they had eaten enough,they [began] to lightenthe shipby throwingout the wheatinto the sea.
