WhileJesus was sayingthese things,oneof the womenin the crowdraisedher voiceand saidto Him, "Blessedis the wombthat boreYou and the breastsat whichYou nursed."
Let your fatherand your motherbe glad,And let her rejoicewho gavebirthto you.
And comingin, he saidto her, "Greetings,favoredone! The Lord[is] with you."
And she criedout with a loudvoiceand said,"Blessed[are] you amongwomen,and blessed[is] the fruitof your womb!
"For He has had regardfor the humble stateof His bondslave;For behold,from this timeon allgenerationswill count me blessed.
"Thenit goesand takes[along] sevenotherspiritsmore evilthan itself,and they goin and livethere;and the laststate of that manbecomesworsethan the first."
"For behold,the daysare comingwhenthey will say,Blessedare the barren,and the wombsthat neverbore,and the breaststhat nevernursed.'
