The LORDsaysto my Lord:"Sitat My righthandUntilI makeYour enemiesa footstoolfor Your feet."
While He was stillspeakingto the crowds,behold,His motherand brotherswere standingoutside,seekingto speakto Him.
But Johntried to preventHim, saying,"I haveneedto be baptizedby You, and do You cometo me?"
And she criedout with a loudvoiceand said,"Blessed[are] you amongwomen,and blessed[is] the fruitof your womb!
"For behold,whenthe soundof your greetingreachedmy ears,the babyleapedin my wombfor joy.
for todayin the cityof Davidthere has been bornfor you a Savior,whois Christthe Lord.
for this reasonI did not evenconsidermyselfworthyto cometo You, but [just] saythe word,and my servantwill be healed.
"You callMe Teacherand Lord;and you are right,for [so] I am.
Thomasansweredand saidto Him, "My Lordand my God!"
Do nothingfrom selfishnessorempty conceit,but with humility of mindregardone anotheras more importantthan yourselves;
More thanthat, I countallthingsto be lossin viewof the surpassing valueof knowingChristJesusmy Lord,for whomI have suffered the lossof all things,and countthem but rubbishsothat I may gainChrist,
Then she fellon her face,bowingto the groundand saidto him, "Whyhave I foundfavorin your sightthat you should takenoticeof me, since I am a foreigner?"
She aroseand bowedwith her faceto the groundand said,"Behold,your maidservantis a maidto washthe feetof my lord'sservants."
