He cameto the menof Succothand said,"BeholdZebahand Zalmunna,concerning whomyou tauntedme, saying,Are the handsof Zebahand Zalmunnaalreadyin your hand,that we should givebreadto your menwho are weary?'"
And he captureda youthfrom Succothand questionedhim. Then [the youth] wrotedownfor him the princesof Succothand its elders,seventy-sevenmen.
He tookthe eldersof the city,and thornsof the wildernessand briers,and he disciplinedthe menof Succothwith them.
"Shall I then takemy breadand my waterand my meatthat I have slaughteredfor my shearers,and giveit to menwhoseoriginI do not know?"
