"But wheneverthey persecuteyou in onecity,fleeto the next;for trulyI sayto you, you will not finish[going through] the citiesof Israeluntilthe Sonof Mancomes.
"But when the vine-growerssawthe son,they saidamongthemselves,'Thisis the heir;come,let us killhim and seizehis inheritance.'
The chief priestsand the scribesheard[this], and [began] seekinghowto destroyHim; for they were afraidof Him, for the wholecrowdwas astonishedat His teaching.
Thisis the testimonyof John,whenthe Jewssentto him priestsand Levitesfrom Jerusalemto askhim, "Whoare you?"
He leftJudeaand went awayagaininto Galilee.
Thisis againa secondsignthat Jesusperformedwhen He had comeout of Judeainto Galilee.
Afterthese thingsJesuswent awayto the other sideof the Seaof Galilee(or Tiberias).
Sothe Jewswere seekingHim at the feastand were saying,"Whereis He?"
Yetno onewas speakingopenlyof Him for fearof the Jews.
"Did not Mosesgiveyou the Law,and [yet] noneof you carriesout the Law?Whydo you seekto killMe?"
Sosomeof the people of Jerusalemwere saying,"Is thisnot the man whomthey are seekingto kill?
The Jewsthensaidto one another,"Wheredoes this manintendto gothat we will not findHim? He is not intendingto goto the Dispersionamong the Greeks,and teachthe Greeks,is He?
"I knowthat you are Abraham'sdescendants;yetyou seekto killMe, becauseMy wordhasnoplacein you.
"But as it is, you are seekingto killMe, a manwhohas toldyou the truth,whichI heardfrom God;thisAbrahamdid not do.
"[You know of] Jesusof Nazareth,howGodanointedHim with the HolySpiritand with power,and [how] He went aboutdoing goodand healingallwho were oppressedby the devil,for Godwas with Him.
