SimonPeteranswered,"You are the Christ,the Sonof the livingGod."
And He [continued] by questioningthem, "But whodo you saythat I am?"Peteransweredand saidto Him, "You are the Christ."
And He saidto them, "But whodo you saythat I am?"And Peteransweredand said,"The Christof God."
"For I did not speakon My own initiative,but the FatherHimselfwho sentMe has givenMe a commandment[as to] whatto sayand whatto speak.
"I knowthat His commandmentis eternallife;thereforethe things I speak,I speakjustas the Fatherhas toldMe."
for the wordswhichYou gaveMe I have givento them; and they received[them] and trulyunderstoodthat I came forthfrom You, and they believedthat You sentMe.
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, he who hearsMy word,and believesHim who sentMe, haseternallife,and does not comeinto judgment,but has passedout of deathinto life.
"For thisis the willof My Father,that everyonewho beholdsthe Sonand believesin Him will haveeternallife,and I Myselfwill raisehim up on the lastday."
"It is the Spiritwho gives life;the fleshprofitsnothing;the wordsthat I have spokento you are spiritand are life.
"Brethren,sonsof Abraham'sfamily,and thoseamongyou who fearGod,to us the messageof thissalvationhas been sent.
