Jesusansweredand saidto them, "Thisis the workof God,that you believein Him whomHe has sent."
Dohomageto the Son,that He not becomeangry,and you perish[in] the way,For His wrathmay soonbe kindled.How blessedare allwho takerefugein Him!
While he was stillspeaking,a brightcloudovershadowedthem, and behold,a voiceout of the cloudsaid,"Thisis My belovedSon,with whomI am well-pleased;listento Him!"
"He who has believedand has been baptizedshall be saved;but he who has disbelievedshall be condemned.
"He who believesin the Sonhaseternallife;but he who does not obeythe Sonwill not seelife,but the wrathof Godabideson him."
"You searchthe Scripturesbecauseyou thinkthat in them you haveeternallife;it is thesethat testifyaboutMe;
Thereforethey saidto Him, "Whatshall we do,sothat we may workthe worksof God?"
"For I have come downfrom heaven,not to doMy ownwill,but the willof Him who sentMe.
"As the livingFathersentMe, and I livebecauseof the Father,sohe who eatsMe, he alsowill livebecauseof Me.
They said,"Believein the LordJesus,and you will be saved,you and your household."
constantlybearing in mindyour workof faithand laborof loveand steadfastnessof hopein our LordJesusChristin the presenceof our Godand Father,
And having been made perfect,He becameto allthosewho obeyHim the sourceof eternalsalvation,
You seethat faithwas workingwith his works,and as a resultof the works,faithwas perfected;
Thisis His commandment,that we believein the nameof His SonJesusChrist,and loveone another,justas He commandedus.
Whoeverbelievesthat Jesusis the Christis bornof God,and whoeverlovesthe Fatherlovesthe [child] bornof Him.
He who overcomes,and he who keepsMy deedsuntilthe end,TO HIM I WILL GIVEAUTHORITYOVERTHE NATIONS;
