No onehas seenGodat any time;the only begottenGodwho is in the bosomof the Father,He has explained[Him].
Nowto the Kingeternal,immortal,invisible,the onlyGod,[be] honorand gloryforeverand ever.Amen.
who alonepossessesimmortalityand dwellsin unapproachablelight,whomnomanhas seenorcansee.To Him [be] honorand eternaldominion!Amen.
and behold,a voiceout of the heavenssaid,"Thisis My belovedSon,in whomI am well-pleased."
Ifsomeonesays,"I loveGod,"and hateshis brother,he is a liar;for the one who does not lovehis brotherwhomhe has seen,cannotloveGodwhomhe has not seen.
No onehas seenGodat any time;ifwe loveone another,Godabidesin us, and His loveis perfectedin us.
Jesussaidto him, "Have I beenso longwith you, and [yet] you have not come to knowMe, Philip?He who has seenMe has seenthe Father;how[can] you say,'Showus the Father'?
"Do not workfor the foodwhich perishes,but for the foodwhich enduresto eternallife,whichthe Sonof Manwill giveto you, for on Him the Father,God,has set His seal."
While he was stillspeaking,a brightcloudovershadowedthem, and behold,a voiceout of the cloudsaid,"Thisis My belovedSon,with whomI am well-pleased;listento Him!"
"Then the LORDspoketo you from the midstof the fire;you heardthe soundof words,but you sawnoform--onlya voice.
Then they saidto Moses,"Speakto us yourselfand we will listen;but let not Godspeakto us, orwe will die."
"IfI had not doneamongthem the workswhichno oneelsedid,they would not havesin;but nowthey have bothseenand hatedMe and My Fatheras well.
[Though] the wickedis shownfavor,He does not learnrighteousness;He dealsunjustlyin the landof uprightness,And does not perceivethe majestyof the LORD.
and a voicecameout of the heavens:"You are My belovedSon,in You I am well-pleased."
and the HolySpiritdescendedupon Him in bodilyformlikea dove,and a voicecameout of heaven,"You are My belovedSon,in You I am well-pleased."
Thenbeginningwith Mosesand with allthe prophets,He explainedto them the things concerningHimselfin allthe Scriptures.
"There is anotherwho testifiesof Me, and I knowthat the testimonywhichHe givesaboutMe is true.
Ifwe receivethe testimonyof men,the testimonyof Godis greater;for the testimonyof Godis this,that He has testifiedconcerningHis Son.
