"Truly,truly,I sayto you, an houris comingand nowis, whenthe deadwill hearthe voiceof the Sonof God,and thosewho hearwill live.
for thissonof minewas deadand has come to life again;he was lostand has been found.'And they beganto celebrate.
But we hadto celebrateand rejoice,for thisbrotherof yourswas deadand [has begun] to live,and [was] lostand has been found.'"
But He saidto him, "Allowthe deadto burytheir owndead;but as for you, goand proclaim everywherethe kingdomof God."
Nowbeforethe Feastof the Passover,Jesusknowingthat His hourhad comethat He would departout of thisworldto the Father,having lovedHis ownwhowere in the world,He lovedthem to the end.
Jesusspokethese things;and liftingup His eyesto heaven,He said,"Father,the hourhas come;glorifyYour Son,that the Sonmay glorifyYou,
Jesussaidto her, "Woman,believeMe, an houris comingwhenneitherin thismountainnorin Jerusalemwill you worshipthe Father.
"But an houris coming,and nowis, whenthe true worshiperswill worshipthe Fatherin spiritand truth;for such peoplethe Fatherseeksto be His worshipers.
"For justas the Fatherraisesthe deadand givesthem life,evensothe Sonalsogives lifeto whomHe wishes.
"Do not marvelat this;for an houris coming,in whichallwhoare in the tombswill hearHis voice,
Thereforemanyof His disciples,when they heard[this] said,"Thisis a difficultstatement;whocanlistento it?"
"Whydo you not understandwhat I am saying?[It is] becauseyou cannothearMy word.
"He who is of Godhearsthe wordsof God;for thisreasonyou do not hear[them], becauseyou are not of God."
He answeredthem, "I toldyou alreadyand you did not listen;whydo you wantto hear[it] again?You do not wantto becomeHis disciplestoo,do you?"
Thereforewe have been buriedwith Him throughbaptisminto death,sothat as Christwas raisedfrom the deadthroughthe gloryof the Father,sowe toomight walkin newnessof life.
And you were deadin your trespassesand sins,
evenwhen we were deadin our transgressions,made us alive togetherwith Christ(by graceyou have beensaved),
For this reasonit says,"Awake,sleeper,And arisefrom the dead,And Christwill shineon you."
When you were deadin your transgressionsand the uncircumcisionof your flesh,He made you alive togetherwith Him, having forgivenus allour transgressions,
"To the angelof the churchin Sardiswrite:He who hasthe sevenSpiritsof Godand the sevenstars,saysthis:I knowyour deeds,that you havea namethat you are alive,but you are dead.
