but thesehave been writtensothat you may believethat Jesusis the Christ,the Sonof God;and that believingyou may havelifein His name.
"Of Him allthe prophetsbear witnessthat throughHis nameeveryonewho believesin Him receivesforgivenessof sins."
Whoeverbelievesthat Jesusis the Christis bornof God,and whoeverlovesthe Fatherlovesthe [child] bornof Him.
And we knowthat the Sonof Godhas come,and has givenus understandingsothat we may knowHim whois true;and we are in Him who is true,in His SonJesusChrist.Thisis the true Godand eternallife.
Whoeverconfessesthat Jesusis the Sonof God,Godabidesin him, and he in God.
"He who believesin the Sonhaseternallife;but he who does not obeythe Sonwill not seelife,but the wrathof Godabideson him."
"He who believesin Him is not judged;he who does not believehas been judgedalready,becausehe has not believedin the nameof the only begottenSonof God.
Anyonewho goes too farand does not abidein the teachingof Christ,does not haveGod;the one who abidesin the teaching,he hasboththe Fatherand the Son.
"For thisis the willof My Father,that everyonewho beholdsthe Sonand believesin Him will haveeternallife,and I Myselfwill raisehim up on the lastday."
And he who has seenhas testified, and his testimonyis true;and he knowsthat he is tellingthe truth,sothat you alsomay believe.
Thomasansweredand saidto Him, "My Lordand my God!"
"The thiefcomesonlyto stealand killand destroy;I camethat they may havelife,and have[it] abundantly.
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, he who hearsMy word,and believesHim who sentMe, haseternallife,and does not comeinto judgment,but has passedout of deathinto life.
sothat you may knowthe exact truthaboutthe thingsyou have been taught.
SimonPeteranswered,"You are the Christ,the Sonof the livingGod."
and that repentancefor forgivenessof sinswould be proclaimedin His nameto allthe nations,beginningfrom Jerusalem.
"He who has believedand has been baptizedshall be saved;but he who has disbelievedshall be condemned.
Nowthe centurion,and thosewho were with him keeping guard overJesus,when they sawthe earthquakeand the things that were happening,became veryfrightenedand said,"Trulythiswas the Sonof God!"
and immediatelyhe [began] to proclaimJesusin the synagogues,saying,"He is the Sonof God."
As they wentalongthe roadthey cameto somewater;and the eunuchsaid,"Look!Water!Whatpreventsme from being baptized?"
"And on the basisof faithin His name,[it is] the nameof Jesus which has strengthenedthisman whomyou seeand know;and the faithwhich [comes] throughHim has givenhim thisperfect healthin the presenceof you all.
NathanaelansweredHim, "Rabbi,You are the Sonof God;You are the Kingof Israel."
Dohomageto the Son,that He not becomeangry,and you perish[in] the way,For His wrathmay soonbe kindled.How blessedare allwho takerefugein Him!
"I will surelytellof the decreeof the LORD:He saidto Me, 'You are My Son,TodayI have begottenYou.
"And to the angelof the churchin Thyatirawrite:The Sonof God,who haseyeslikea flameof fire,and His feetare likeburnished bronze,saysthis:
obtainingas the outcomeof your faiththe salvationof your souls.
And the temptercameand saidto Him, "IfYou are the Sonof God,commandthat thesestonesbecomebread."
The angelansweredand saidto her, "The HolySpiritwill comeupon you, and the powerof the Most Highwill overshadowyou; and for that reasonthe holyChildshall be calledthe Sonof God.
[And Philipsaid,"Ifyou believewith allyour heart,you may."And he answeredand said,"I believethat JesusChristis the Sonof God.]"
