"He who does not loveMe does not keepMy words;and the wordwhichyou hearis not Mine,but the Father'swho sentMe.
Jesussaidto him, "Ifyou wishto be complete,go[and] sellyour possessionsand giveto [the] poor,and you will havetreasurein heaven;and come,followMe."
"Do you not believethat I am in the Father,and the Fatheris in Me? The wordsthat I sayto you I do not speakon My own initiative,but the Fatherabidingin Me doesHis works.
"Ifyou loveMe, you will keepMy commandments.
"These thingsI have spokento you while abidingwith you.
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, we speakof whatwe knowand testifyof whatwe have seen,and you do not acceptour testimony.
"For He whomGodhas sentspeaksthe wordsof God;for He givesthe Spiritwithoutmeasure.
ThereforeJesusansweredand was sayingto them, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, the Soncandonothingof Himself,unless[it is] somethingHe seesthe Fatherdoing;for whateverthe Fatherdoes,these thingsthe Sonalsodoesin like manner.
"You do not haveHis wordabidingin you, for you do not believeHim whomHe sent.
SoJesusansweredthem and said,"My teachingis not Mine,but His who sentMe.
ThenJesuscriedout in the temple,teachingand saying,"You bothknow Me and knowwhereI amfrom; and I have not comeof Myself,but He who sentMe is true,whomyou do not know.
"I havemany thingsto speakand to judgeconcerningyou, but He who sentMe is true;and the things whichI heardfrom Him, theseI speakto the world."
SoJesussaid,"Whenyou liftup the Sonof Man,thenyou will knowthat I am[He], and I donothingon My own initiative,but I speakthese thingsas the FathertaughtMe.
"I speakthe things whichI have seenwith [My] Father;thereforeyou alsodothe things whichyou heardfrom [your] father."
Jesussaidto them, "IfGodwere your Father,you would loveMe, for I proceeded forthand have comefrom God,for I have not evencomeon My own initiative,but He sentMe.
