"Whateveryou askin My name,that will I do,sothat the Fathermay be glorifiedin the Son.
"And all thingsyou askin prayer,believing,you will receive."
"Ask,and it will be givento you; seek,and you will find;knock,and it will be openedto you.
"ThereforeI sayto you, all thingsfor whichyou prayand ask,believethat you have receivedthem, and they will be [granted] you.
"SoI sayto you, ask,and it will be givento you; seek,and you will find;knock,and it will be openedto you.
"I and the Fatherare one."
And Jesuscriedout and said,"He who believesin Me, does not believein Me but in Him who sentMe.
Thereforewhenhe had goneout, Jesussaid,"Nowis the Sonof Manglorified,and Godis glorifiedin Him;
"Ifyou askMe anythingin My name,I will do[it].
Jesussaidto him, "I amthe way,and the truth,and the life;no onecomesto the Fatherbut throughMe.
"You did not chooseMe but I choseyou, and appointedyou that you would goand bearfruit,and [that] your fruitwould remain,sothat whateveryou askof the Fatherin My nameHe may giveto you.
"Ifyou abidein Me, and My wordsabidein you, askwhateveryou wish,and it will be donefor you.
"In that dayyou will not questionMe about anything.Truly,truly,I sayto you, ifyou askthe Fatherfor anythingin My name,He will giveit to you.
"In that dayyou will askin My name,and I do not sayto you that I will requestof the Fatheron your behalf;
"But I tellyou the truth,it is to your advantagethat I goaway;for ifI do not go away,the Helperwill not cometo you; but ifI go,I will sendHim to you.
Jesusansweredand saidto her, "Ifyou knewthe giftof God,and whoit is who saysto you, 'GiveMe a drink,'you would have askedHim, and He would have givenyou livingwater."
but whoeverdrinksof the waterthat I will givehim shall neverthirst;but the waterthat I will givehim will becomein him a wellof waterspringingup to eternallife."
ThereforeJesusansweredand was sayingto them, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, the Soncandonothingof Himself,unless[it is] somethingHe seesthe Fatherdoing;for whateverthe Fatherdoes,these thingsthe Sonalsodoesin like manner.
Nowon the lastday,the great[day] of the feast,Jesusstoodand criedout, saying,"Ifanyoneis thirsty,let him cometo Me and drink.
Thereforelet one who speaksin a tonguepraythat he may interpret.
for throughHim we bothhaveour accessin oneSpiritto the Father.
in whomwe haveboldnessand confidentaccessthroughfaithin Him.
For thisreasonI bowmy kneesbeforethe Father,
I can doall thingsthroughHim who strengthensme.
Whateveryou doin wordordeed,[do] allin the nameof the LordJesus,giving thanksthroughHim to Godthe Father.
ThroughHim then,let us continuallyofferup a sacrificeof praiseto God,that is, the fruitof lipsthat give thanksto His name.
For we do not havea high priestwhocannotsympathizewith our weaknesses,but One whohas been temptedin all thingsas [we are, yet] withoutsin.
ThereforeHe is ablealsoto saveforeverthosewho draw nearto GodthroughHim, since He alwayslivesto make intercessionfor them.
But ifanyof you lackswisdom,let him askof God,who givesto allgenerouslyand withoutreproach,and it will be givento him.
Therefore,confessyour sinsto oneanother,and prayfor one anothersothat you may be healed.The effectiveprayerof a righteous mancanaccomplishmuch.
you also,as livingstones,are being builtup as a spiritualhousefor a holypriesthood,to offerup spiritualsacrificesacceptableto GodthroughJesusChrist.
and whateverwe askwe receivefrom Him, becausewe keepHis commandmentsand dothe things that are pleasingin His sight.
Thisis the confidencewhichwe havebeforeHim, that, ifwe askanythingaccordingto His will,He hearsus.
