But someof them said,"Couldnot thisman,who openedthe eyesof the blindman,have keptthis manalsofrom dying?"
You have seenmanythings,but you do not observe[them]; [Your] earsare open,but nonehears.
"Let [this] Christ,the Kingof Israel,nowcome downfrom the cross,sothat we may seeand believe!"Thosewho were crucifiedwith Him were alsoinsultingHim.
And the peoplestoodby, lookingon. And eventhe rulerswere sneeringat Him, saying,"He savedothers;let Him saveHimselfifthisis the Christof God,His Chosen One."
Oneof the criminalswho were hanged[there] was hurling abuseat Him, saying,"Are You not the Christ?SaveYourselfand us!"
Marthathensaidto Jesus,"Lord,ifYou had beenhere,my brotherwould not have died.
Therefore,whenMarycamewhereJesuswas, she sawHim, and fellat His feet,sayingto Him, "Lord,ifYou had beenhere,my brotherwould not have died."
