These thingstook placein Bethanybeyondthe Jordan,whereJohnwas baptizing.
And He went awayagainbeyondthe Jordanto the placewhereJohnwas firstbaptizing,and He was stayingthere.
Johnalsowas baptizingin AenonnearSalim,becausethere was muchwaterthere;and [people] were comingand were being baptized--
Gideonsentmessengersthroughoutallthe hillcountryof Ephraim,saying,"ComedownagainstMidianand takethe watersbefore them, as faras Beth-barahand the Jordan."So allthe menof Ephraimwere summonedand they tookthe watersas faras Beth-barahand the Jordan.
And they cameto Johnand saidto him, "Rabbi,He whowas with you beyondthe Jordan,to whomyou have testified,behold,He is baptizingand allare comingto Him."
"Whywas thisperfumenot soldfor three hundreddenariiand givento poor[people]?"
The next dayHe purposedto gointo Galilee,and He foundPhilip.And Jesussaidto him, "FollowMe."
