Johnansweredthem saying,"I baptizein water,[but] amongyou standsOne whomyou do not know.
"As for me, I baptizeyou with waterfor repentance,but He who is comingafterme is mightierthan I, and I amnot fitto removeHis sandals;He will baptizeyou with the HolySpiritand fire.
and they were being baptizedby him in the JordanRiver,as they confessedtheir sins.

Sothey were sayingto Him, "Whereis Your Father?"Jesusanswered,"You knowneitherMe norMy Father;ifyou knew Me, you would knowMy Fatheralso."
for Johnbaptizedwith water,but you will be baptizedwith the HolySpiritnot manydaysfrom now."

Paulsaid,"Johnbaptizedwith the baptismof repentance,tellingthe peopleto believein Him who was comingafterhim, that is, in Jesus."
