AfterwardJobopenedhis mouthand cursedthe dayof his [birth].
"But putforthYour handnowand touchallthat he has; he will surelycurseYou to Your face."
Through allthisJobdid not sinnordid he blameGod.
Then they satdownon the groundwith him for sevendaysand sevennightswith noonespeakinga wordto him, for they sawthat [his] painwas verygreat.
"However,putforthYour handnow,and touchhis boneand his flesh;he will curseYou to Your face."
And Jobsaid,
"Let the dayperishon which I was to be born,And the night[which] said,A boyis conceived.'
So Jobopenshis mouthemptily;He multiplieswordswithoutknowledge."
Becausethey were rebelliousagainstHis Spirit,He spokerashlywith his lips.
Woeto me, my mother,that you have borneme [As] a manof strifeand a manof contentionto allthe land!I have not lent,norhave men lentmoney to me, [Yet] everyonecursesme.
