He trustedin the LORD,the Godof Israel;so that afterhim there was nonelikehim among allthe kingsof Judah,nor[among those] whowere beforehim.
"Commit[yourself] to the LORD;let Him deliverhim; Let Him rescuehim, becauseHe delightsin him."
"Thussaysthe king,'Do not let Hezekiahdeceiveyou, for he will not be ableto deliveryou;
norlet Hezekiahmake you trustin the LORD,saying,"The LORDwill surelydeliverus, thiscitywill not be giveninto the handof the kingof Assyria."
Whoamong allthe godsof theselandshave deliveredtheir landfrom my hand,that the LORDwould deliverJerusalemfrom my hand?'"
Then Rabshakehsaidto them, "Saynowto Hezekiah,'Thussaysthe greatking,the kingof Assyria,"Whatis thisconfidencethat you have?
"And you have spokenarrogantlyagainstMe and have multipliedyour wordsagainstMe; I have heard[it]."
"HE TRUSTSIN GOD;LET GODRESCUE[Him] now,IFHE DELIGHTSIN HIM; for He said,'I amthe Sonof God.'"
