[Grain for] breadis crushed,Indeed,he does not continueto threshit forever.Because the wheelof [his] cartand his horses[eventually] damage[it], He does not threshit longer.
"The prophetwhohasa dreammay relate[his] dream,but let him whohasMy wordspeakMy wordin truth.Whatdoes strawhave [in common] with grain?"declaresthe LORD.
For thussaysthe LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel:"The daughterof Babylonis like a threshingfloorAt the timeit is stampedfirm;Yetin a littlewhilethe timeof harvestwill comefor her."
The mansaidto me, "Sonof man,seewith your eyes,hearwith your ears,and giveattentionto allthat I am going to showyou; for you have been broughtherein orderto show[it] to you. Declareto the houseof Israelallthat you see."
A lionhas roared!Whowill not fear?The LordGODhas spoken!Whocan but prophesy?
"Ariseand thresh,daughterof Zion,For your hornI will makeironAnd your hoofsI will makebronze,That you may pulverizemanypeoples,That you may devoteto the LORDtheir unjustgainAnd their wealthto the Lordof allthe earth.
In indignationYou marchedthrough the earth;In angerYou trampledthe nations.
"His winnowing forkis in His hand,and He will thoroughly clearHis threshing floor;and He will gatherHis wheatinto the barn,but He will burnup the chaffwith unquenchablefire."
