When Esauheardthe wordsof his father,he criedout with an exceedinglygreatand bittercry,and saidto his father,"Blessme, [even] me also,O my father!"
And he said,"Your brothercamedeceitfullyand has takenaway your blessing."
When Mordecailearnedallthat had been done,he torehis clothes,puton sackclothand ashes,and wentout into the midstof the cityand wailedloudlyand bitterly.
"So they shall eatof the fruitof their own wayAnd be satiatedwith their own devices.
The foolishnessof manruinshis way,And his heartragesagainstthe LORD.
For you knowthat evenafterwards,when he desiredto inheritthe blessing,he was rejected,for he foundnoplacefor repentance,thoughhe soughtfor it with tears.
