Abimelechthen tooksheepand oxenand maleand femaleservants,and gavethem to Abraham,and restoredhis wifeSarahto him.
Therefore he treatedAbramwellfor her sake;and gavehim sheepand oxenand donkeysand maleand femaleservantsand femaledonkeysand camels.
Abrahamsaid,"BecauseI thought,surelythereis nofearof Godin thisplace,and they will killme becauseof my wife.
Abrahamsaidof Sarahhis wife,"She is my sister."So Abimelechkingof Gerarsentand tookSarah.
"Nowtherefore, restorethe man'swife,for he is a prophet,and he will prayfor you and you will live.But ifyou do not restore[her], knowthat you shall surelydie,you and allwhoare yours."
Now it cameabout at that timethat Abimelechand Phicol,the commanderof his army,spoketo Abraham,saying,"Godis with you in allthat you do;
"But ifthat slavesaysin his heart,'My masterwill be a long timein coming,'and beginsto beatthe slaves,[both] menand women,and to eatand drinkand get drunk;
