Wherethenis that sense of blessingyou had? For I bear you witnessthat, ifpossible,you would have pluckedout your eyesand giventhem to me.
"Those on the rocky[soil are] those who,whenthey hear,receivethe wordwith joy;and thesehaveno[firm] root;they believefor a while,and in timeof temptationfall away.
For I testifyabout them that they havea zealfor God,but not in accordancewith knowledge.
Nowmay the Godof hopefillyou with alljoyand peacein believing,sothat you will aboundin hopeby the powerof the HolySpirit.
throughwhomalsowe have obtainedour introductionby faithinto thisgracein whichwe stand;and we exultin hopeof the gloryof God.
For I could wishthat I myselfwere accursed,[separated] from Christfor the sakeof my brethren,my kinsmenaccordingto the flesh,
For I testifythat accordingto their ability,and beyondtheir ability,[they gave] of their own accord,
in orderthat in ChristJesusthe blessingof Abrahammight cometo the Gentiles,sothat we would receivethe promiseof the Spiritthroughfaith.
and that which was a trialto you in my bodily conditionyou did not despiseorloathe,but you receivedme as an angelof God,as ChristJesus[Himself].
Sohave I becomeyour enemyby telling you the truth?
My children,with whomI amagainin laboruntilChristis formedin you--
But the fruitof the Spiritis love,joy,peace,patience,kindness,goodness,faithfulness,
But each onemust examinehis ownwork,and thenhe will have[reason for] boastingin regardto himselfalone,and not in regardto another.
For I testifyfor him that he hasa deepconcernfor you and for thosewho are in Laodiceaand Hierapolis.
Havingsofond an affectionfor you, we were well-pleasedto impartto you not onlythe gospelof Godbut alsoour ownlives,becauseyou had becomevery dearto us.
and that you esteemthem very highlyin lovebecauseof their work.Live in peacewith one another.
