But the Scripturehas shutup everyoneundersin,sothat the promiseby faithin JesusChristmight be givento thosewho believe.
And do not enterinto judgmentwith Your servant,For in Your sightnomanlivingis righteous.
"He who has believedand has been baptizedshall be saved;but he who has disbelievedshall be condemned.
"I have come[as] Lightinto the world,sothat everyonewho believesin Me will not remainin darkness.
but thesehave been writtensothat you may believethat Jesusis the Christ,the Sonof God;and that believingyou may havelifein His name.
"He who believesin the Sonhaseternallife;but he who does not obeythe Sonwill not seelife,but the wrathof Godabideson him."
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, he who hearsMy word,and believesHim who sentMe, haseternallife,and does not comeinto judgment,but has passedout of deathinto life.
"For thisis the willof My Father,that everyonewho beholdsthe Sonand believesin Him will haveeternallife,and I Myselfwill raisehim up on the lastday."
They said,"Believein the LordJesus,and you will be saved,you and your household."
that ifyou confesswith your mouthJesus[as] Lord,and believein your heartthat GodraisedHim from the dead,you will be saved;
For Godhas shutup allin disobediencesothat He may show mercyto all.
even[the] righteousnessof Godthroughfaithin JesusChristfor allthosewho believe;for there is nodistinction;
for allhave sinnedand fall shortof the gloryof God,
Therefore,justas throughonemansinenteredinto the world,and deaththroughsin,and sodeathspreadto allmen,becauseallsinned--
in orderthat in ChristJesusthe blessingof Abrahammight cometo the Gentiles,sothat we would receivethe promiseof the Spiritthroughfaith.
What I am sayingis this:the Law,which camefour hundredand thirtyyearslater,does not invalidatea covenantpreviously ratifiedby God,soas to nullifythe promise.
But beforefaithcame,we were kept in custodyunderthe law,being shutup to the faithwhich was laterto be revealed.
And ifyou belong to Christ,thenyou are Abraham'sdescendants,heirsaccordingto promise.
Paul,an apostleof ChristJesusby the willof God,accordingto the promiseof lifein ChristJesus,
For thisreasonHe is the mediatorof a newcovenant,sothat, since a deathhas taken placefor the redemptionof the transgressionsthat were [committed] underthe firstcovenant,thosewho have been calledmay receivethe promiseof the eternalinheritance.
For by theseHe has grantedto us His preciousand magnificentpromises,sothat by them you may becomepartakersof [the] divinenature,having escapedthe corruptionthat is in the worldby lust.
But accordingto His promisewe are lookingfor newheavensand a newearth,in whichrighteousnessdwells.
Thisis the promisewhichHe Himselfmadeto us: eternallife.
