He saidto me, "Sonof man,have you seen[this]?" Then he broughtme backto the bankof the river.
The mansaidto me, "Sonof man,seewith your eyes,hearwith your ears,and giveattentionto allthat I am going to showyou; for you have been broughtherein orderto show[it] to you. Declareto the houseof Israelallthat you see."
The LORDsaidto me, "Sonof man,markwell,seewith your eyesand hearwith your earsallthat I sayto you concerning allthe statutesof the houseof the LORDand concerning allits laws;and markwellthe entranceof the house,with allexitsof the sanctuary.
He saidto me, "Do you see[this], sonof man?Is it too lighta thingfor the houseof Judahto committhe abominationswhichthey have committedhere,that they have filledthe landwith violenceand provokedMe repeatedly?For behold,they are puttingthe twigto their nose.
And He saidto me, "Sonof man,doyou seewhatthey are doing,the greatabominationswhichthe houseof Israelare committinghere,so that I would be farfrom My sanctuary?But yetyou will seestillgreaterabominations."
He saidto me, "Whatdo you see?"And I said,"I see,and behold,a lampstandallof goldwith its bowlon the topof it, and its sevenlampson it with sevenspoutsbelonging to each of the lampswhichare on the topof it;
And he saidto me, "Whatdo you see?"And I answered,"I seea flyingscroll;its lengthis twentycubitsand its widthtencubits."
"Have you understoodallthese things?"They saidto Him, "Yes."
