They did not seeoneanother,nordid anyonerisefrom his placefor threedays,but allthe sonsof Israelhadlightin their dwellings.
But against anyof the sonsof Israela dogwill not [even] bark,whetheragainst manorbeast,that you may understandhowthe LORDmakesa distinctionbetweenEgyptand Israel.'
The bloodshall be a signfor you on the houseswhereyou live; and when I seethe bloodI will passoveryou, and noplaguewill befallyou to destroy[you] when I strikethe landof Egypt.
Then the magicianssaidto Pharaoh,"Thisis the fingerof God."But Pharaoh'sheartwas hardened,and he did not listento them, as the LORDhad said.
"But the LORDwill makea distinctionbetweenthe livestockof Israeland the livestockof Egypt,so that nothingwill dieof allthat belongs to the sonsof Israel."'"
So the LORDdidthisthingon the nextday,and allthe livestockof Egyptdied;but of the livestockof the sonsof Israel,not onedied.
"In His daysJudahwill be saved,And Israelwill dwellsecurely;And thisis His nameby whichHe will be called,The LORDour righteousness.'
"Furthermore,I withheldthe rainfrom you While [there were] stillthreemonthsuntil harvest.Then I would sendrainon onecityAnd on anothercityI would not sendrain;Onepartwould be rainedon, While the partnot rainedon would dryup.
