Furthermore, they madetwogoldringsand placedthem on the bottomof the twoshoulderpieces of the ephod,on the frontof it, closeto the placewhereit joined,abovethe wovenbandof the ephod.
"Fivecurtainsshall be joinedto oneanother,and [the other] fivecurtains[shall be] joinedto oneanother.
"The skillfullywovenband,whichis on it, shall be like its workmanship,of the samematerial: of gold,of blueand purpleand scarlet[material] and finetwistedlinen.

They boundthe breastpieceby its ringsto the ringsof the ephodwith a bluecord,so that it would be on the wovenbandof the ephod,and that the breastpiecewould not comeloosefrom the ephod,justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
