the sonsof Israelwould seethe faceof Moses,that the skinof Moses'faceshone.So Moseswould replacethe veiloverhis faceuntilhe wentin to speakwith Him.
Then Mosesassembledallthe congregationof the sonsof Israel,and saidto them, "Theseare the thingsthat the LORDhas commanded[you] to do:
Whois like the wisemanand whoknowsthe interpretationof a matter?A man'swisdomillumineshim and causes his sternfaceto beam.
"Those who haveinsightwill shinebrightlylike the brightnessof the expanseof heaven,and those who leadthe manyto righteousness,like the starsforeverand ever.
"ThenTHE RIGHTEOUSWILL SHINE FORTHAS THE SUNin the kingdomof their Father.He who hasears,let him hear.
"Let your lightshinebeforemenin such a waythat they may seeyour goodworks,and glorifyyour Fatherwho is in heaven.
"He was the lampthat was burningand was shiningand you were willingto rejoicefor a whilein his light.
and [are] not likeMoses,[who] used to puta veiloverhis facesothat the sonsof Israelwould not look intentlyat the endof what was fading away.
sothat you will proveyourselves to be blamelessand innocent,childrenof Godabove reproachin the midstof a crookedand perversegeneration,amongwhomyou appearas lightsin the world,
