"Thismonthshall be the beginningof monthsfor you; it is to be the firstmonthof the yearto you.
It is a nightto be observedfor the LORDfor having broughtthem out from the landof Egypt;thisnightis for the LORD,to be observedby allthe sonsof Israelthroughout their generations.
Mosessaidto the people,"Rememberthisdayin whichyou wentout from Egypt,from the houseof slavery;for by a powerfulhandthe LORDbroughtyou out from thisplace. And nothingleavenedshall be eaten.
"On this dayin the monthof Abib,you are about to goforth.
"Threetimesa yearyou shall celebratea feastto Me.
"You shall observethe Feastof UnleavenedBread;for sevendaysyou are to eatunleavenedbread,as I commandedyou, at the appointedtimein the monthAbib,for in it you cameout of Egypt.And noneshall appearbeforeMe empty-handed.
Then on the fifteenthdayof the samemonththere is the Feastof UnleavenedBreadto the LORD;for sevendaysyou shall eatunleavenedbread.
Then on the fourteenthdayof the firstmonthshall be the LORD'SPassover.
On the fifteenthdayof thismonth[shall be] a feast,unleavenedbread[shall be] eatenfor sevendays.
Nowthe Passoverand UnleavenedBread were twodaysaway;and the chief priestsand the scribeswere seekinghowto seizeHim by stealthand kill[Him];
Nowthe Feastof UnleavenedBread, which is calledthe Passover,was approaching.
When he sawthat it pleasedthe Jews,he proceededto arrestPeteralso.Nowit was during the daysof UnleavenedBread.
