"You shall putthe twostoneson the shoulderpieces of the ephod,[as] stonesof memorialfor the sonsof Israel,and Aaronshall beartheir namesbeforethe LORDon his twoshouldersfor a memorial.
"You shall makea breastpieceof judgment,the workof a skillfulworkman;like the workof the ephodyou shall makeit: of gold,of blueand purpleand scarlet[material] and finetwistedlinenyou shall makeit.
"They shall bindthe breastpieceby its ringsto the ringsof the ephodwith a bluecord,so that it will be on the skillfullywovenbandof the ephod,and that the breastpiecewill not comeloosefrom the ephod.
"You shall putin the breastpieceof judgmentthe Urimand the Thummim,and they shall be overAaron'sheartwhen he goesin beforethe LORD;and Aaronshall carrythe judgmentof the sonsof Israeloverhis heartbeforethe LORDcontinually.
"Putme like a sealoveryour heart,Like a sealon your arm.For loveis as strongas death,Jealousyis as severeas Sheol;Its flashesare flashesof fire,The [very] flameof the LORD.
Their leadershall be one of them, And their rulershall comeforthfrom their midst;And I will bringhim nearand he shall approachMe; For whowould dareto riskhis lifeto approachMe?' declaresthe LORD.
