"Have the menof my tentnot said,'Whocan findone who has not been satisfiedwith his meat'?
For they cannotsleepunlessthey doevil;And they are robbedof sleepunlessthey make [someone] stumble.
Afterfivedaysthe high priestAnaniascame downwith someelders,with an attorney[named] Tertullus,and they brought chargesto the governoragainstPaul.
and when I was at Jerusalem,the chief priestsand the eldersof the Jewsbrought chargesagainsthim, askingfor a sentence of condemnationagainsthim.
Festussaid,"KingAgrippa,and allyou gentlemenhere presentwith us, you seethis manaboutwhomallthe peopleof the Jewsappealedto me, bothat Jerusalemand here,loudly declaringthat he oughtnot to liveany longer.
AfterthreedaysPaul called togetherthosewho were the leading menof the Jews,and when they came together,he [began] sayingto them, "Brethren,though I had donenothingagainstour peopleorthe customsof our fathers,yet I was deliveredas a prisonerfrom Jerusaleminto the handsof the Romans.
hinderingus from speakingto the Gentilessothat they may be saved;with the result that they alwaysfill up the measureof their sins.But wrathhas comeupon them to the utmost.
