But manyof thosewho had heardthe messagebelieved;and the numberof the mencameto be aboutfivethousand.
praisingGodand havingfavorwith allthe people.And the Lordwas addingto their numberday by daythosewho were being saved.
Nowwhen they heard[this], they were piercedto the heart,and saidto Peterand the restof the apostles,"Brethren,whatshall we do?"
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, he who believesin Me, the worksthat I do,he will doalso;and greater[works] than thesehe will do;becauseI goto the Father.
When the Gentilesheardthis, they [began] rejoicingand glorifyingthe wordof the Lord;and as manyas had beenappointedto eternallifebelieved.
Your peoplewill volunteerfreelyin the dayof Your power;In holyarray,from the wombof the dawn,Your youthare to You [as] the dew.
At thistimePeterstoodup in the midstof the brethren(a gatheringof aboutone hundredand twentypersonswas there together),and said,
You alsobecameimitatorsof us and of the Lord,having receivedthe wordin muchtribulationwith the joyof the HolySpirit,
And it will be that everysoulthat does not heedthat prophetshall be utterly destroyedfrom amongthe people.'
"ThenJosephsent[word] and invitedJacobhis fatherand allhis relativesto come to him, seventy-fivepersons[in all].
Allof us in the shipwere two hundredand seventy-sixpersons.
Everypersonis to be in subjectionto the governingauthorities.For there is noauthorityexceptfrom God,and thosewhich existare establishedby God.
who oncewere disobedient,whenthe patienceof Godkept waitingin the daysof Noah,during the constructionof the ark,in whicha few,that is, eightpersons,were brought safelythrough[the] water.
The second[angel] pouredout his bowlinto the sea,and it becamebloodlike[that] of a dead man;and everylivingthingin the seadied.
SimonPeterwentup and drewthe netto land,fullof largefish,a hundredand fifty-three;and although there were so many,the netwas not torn.
