He saidto them, "Did you receivethe HolySpiritwhen you believed?"And they [said] to him, "No, we have not evenheardwhetherthere is a HolySpirit."
But thisHe spokeof the Spirit,whomthosewho believedin Him were to receive;for the Spiritwas not yet[given], becauseJesuswas not yetglorified.
While Peterwas stillspeakingthesewords,the HolySpiritfellupon allthosewho were listeningto the message.
When they heardthis, they were baptizedin the nameof the LordJesus.
AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LASTDAYS,'Godsays,'THAT I WILL POUR FORTHOF MY SPIRITON ALLMANKIND;AND YOUR SONSAND YOUR DAUGHTERSSHALL PROPHESY,AND YOUR YOUNG MENSHALL SEEVISIONS,AND YOUR OLD MENSHALL DREAMDREAMS;
For I longto seeyou sothat I may impartsomespiritualgiftto you, that you may be established;
Ordo you not knowthat your bodyis a templeof the HolySpiritwho is in you, whomyou havefrom God,and that you are not your own?
So then,does He who providesyou with the Spiritand worksmiraclesamongyou, do it by the worksof the Law,orby hearingwith faith?
Now Samueldid not yetknowthe LORD,norhad the wordof the LORDyetbeen revealedto him.
