And fixing his gazeon him and beingmuch alarmed,he said,"Whatis it, Lord?"And he saidto him, "Your prayersand almshave ascendedas a memorialbeforeGod.
In thosedaysHezekiahbecamemortallyill;and he prayedto the LORD,and the LORD spoketo him and gavehim a sign.
then hearfrom heaven,from Your dwellingplace,and doaccording to allfor whichthe foreignercallsto You, in orderthat allthe peoplesof the earthmay knowYour name,and fearYou as [do] Your peopleIsrael,and that they may knowthat thishousewhichI have builtis calledby Your name.
May my prayerbe countedas incensebeforeYou; The liftingup of my handsas the eveningoffering.
May He rememberallyour mealofferingsAnd findyour burntofferingacceptable!Selah.
"PutMe in remembrance,let us argueour casetogether;Stateyour [cause], that you may be provedright.
"I have not spokenin secret,In somedarkland;I did not sayto the offspringof Jacob,SeekMe in a wasteplace;I, the LORD,speakrighteousness,Declaringthingsthat are upright.
He saidto me, "O Daniel,manof highesteem,understandthe wordsthat I am about to tellyou and standupright,for I have nowbeen sentto you." And when he had spokenthiswordto me, I stoodup trembling.
He shall then bringit to Aaron'ssonsthe priests;and shall takefrom it his handfulof its fineflourand of its oilwith allof its frankincense.And the priestshall offer[it] up in smoke[as] its memorialportionon the altar,an offeringby fireof a soothingaromato the LORD.
Thenthose who fearedthe LORDspoketo oneanother,and the LORDgaveattentionand heard[it], and a bookof remembrancewas writtenbeforeHim for those who fearthe LORDand who esteemHis name.
"TrulyI sayto you, whereverthisgospelis preachedin the wholeworld,whatthis womanhas donewill alsobe spokenof in memoryof her."
But she was very perplexedat [this] statement,and kept ponderingwhat kindof salutationthiswas.
and as [the women] were terrifiedand bowedtheir facesto the ground,[the men] saidto them, "Whydo you seekthe livingOne amongthe dead?
and he said,'Cornelius,your prayerhas been heardand your almshave been rememberedbeforeGod.
This manwas listeningto Paulas he spoke,who,when he had fixed his gazeon him and had seenthat he hadfaithto be made well,
"And I said,Whatshall I do,Lord?'And the Lordsaidto me, 'Getup and goon into Damascus,and thereyou will be toldof allthat has been appointedfor you to do.'
But Peter,alongwith John,fixed his gazeon him and said,"Lookat us!"
But I have receivedeverythingin fulland have an abundance;I am amply supplied,having receivedfrom Epaphrodituswhat you have sent,a fragrantaroma,an acceptablesacrifice,well-pleasingto God.
Be anxiousfor nothing,but in everythingby prayerand supplicationwith thanksgivinglet your requestsbe made knownto God.
And do not neglectdoing goodand sharing,for with suchsacrificesGodis pleased.
For Godis not unjustso as to forgetyour workand the lovewhichyou have showntowardHis name,in having ministeredand in still ministeringto the saints.
And the smokeof the incense,with the prayersof the saints,wentup beforeGodout of the angel'shand.
Then the LORDcameand stoodand calledas at othertimes,"Samuel!Samuel!"And Samuelsaid,"Speak,for Your servantis listening."
