Againa voice[came] to him a second time,"WhatGodhas cleansed,no[longer] considerunholy."
Eatanythingthat is soldin the meat marketwithoutasking questionsfor conscience'sake;
"[It is] not whatentersinto the mouth[that] defilesthe man,but whatproceedsout of the mouth,thisdefilesthe man."
To the pure,all thingsare pure;but to thosewho are defiledand unbelieving,nothingis pure,but boththeir mindand their conscienceare defiled.
becauseit does not gointo his heart,but into his stomach,and is eliminated?"([Thus He] declaredallfoodsclean.)
I knowand am convincedin the LordJesusthat nothingis uncleanin itself;but to him who thinksanythingto be unclean,to him it is unclean.
And he saidto them, "You yourselvesknowhowunlawfulit is for a manwho is a Jewto associatewith a foreignerorto visithim; and [yet] Godhas shownme that I should not callanymanunholyorunclean.
"But a voicefrom heavenanswereda second time,WhatGodhas cleansed,nolonger considerunholy.'
Do not tear downthe workof Godfor the sakeof food.All thingsindeedare clean,but they are evilfor the manwho eatsand givesoffense.
but that we writeto them that they abstainfrom things contaminatedby idolsand from fornicationand from what is strangledand from blood.
and He madenodistinctionbetweenus and them, cleansingtheir heartsby faith.
that you abstainfrom things sacrificed to idolsand from bloodand from things strangledand from fornication;if you keepyourselvesfreefrom suchthings,you will dowell.Farewell."
And the winepresswas troddenoutsidethe city,and bloodcameout from the wine press,up to the horses'bridles,for a distanceof twohundred miles.
Thishappenedthree times,and immediatelythe objectwas takenup into the sky.
