Theseallwith one mindwere continually devoting themselvesto prayer,alongwith [the] women,and Marythe motherof Jesus,and with His brothers.
With allprayerand petitionprayat alltimesin the Spirit,and with thisin view,be on the alertwith allperseveranceand petitionfor allthe saints,
"But we will devote ourselvesto prayerand to the ministryof the word."
Devote yourselvesto prayer,keeping alertin it with [an attitude of] thanksgiving;
They were continually devoting themselvesto the apostles'teachingand to fellowship,to the breakingof breadand to prayer.
rejoicingin hope,perseveringin tribulation,devotedto prayer,
NowHe was tellingthem a parableto show that at all timesthey oughtto prayand not to lose heart,
"And all thingsyou askin prayer,believing,you will receive."
Whenthe dayof Pentecosthad come,they were alltogetherin oneplace.
"Ifyou then,beingevil,know howto givegoodgiftsto your children,how muchmorewill [your] heavenlyFathergivethe HolySpiritto thosewho askHim?"
Day by daycontinuingwith one mindin the temple,and breakingbreadfrom house to house,they were takingtheir mealstogetherwith gladnessand sincerityof heart,
and were continuallyin the templepraisingGod.
While He was stillspeakingto the crowds,behold,His motherand brotherswere standingoutside,seekingto speakto Him.
Nowthey were MaryMagdaleneand Joannaand Marythe [mother] of James;alsothe other womenwith them were tellingthese thingsto the apostles.
Nowthe womenwhohad comewith Him out of Galileefollowed,and sawthe tomband howHis bodywas laid.
And allHis acquaintancesand the womenwho accompaniedHim from Galileewere standingat a distance,seeingthese things.
When the Sabbathwas over,MaryMagdalene,and Marythe [mother] of James,and Salome,boughtspices,sothat they might comeand anointHim.
There were also[some] womenlookingon from a distance,amongwhom[were] MaryMagdalene,and Marythe motherof Jamesthe Lessand Joses,and Salome.
Manywomenwere therelookingon from a distance,whohad followedJesusfrom Galileewhile ministeringto Him.
And they gotup that veryhourand returnedto Jerusalem,and foundgathered togetherthe elevenand thosewhowere with them,
And it was reportedto Him, "Your motherand Your brothersare standingoutside,wishingto seeYou."
Thereforelet one who speaksin a tonguepraythat he may interpret.
