Finally,brethren,prayfor us that the wordof the Lordwill spread rapidlyand be glorified,justas [it did] alsowith you;
I will bowdowntowardYour holytempleAnd givethanksto Your namefor Your lovingkindnessand Your truth;For You have magnifiedYour wordaccordingto allYour name.
"Thereforebeseechthe Lordof the harvestto sendout workersinto His harvest."
And He was sayingto them, "The harvestis plentiful,but the laborersare few;thereforebeseechthe Lordof the harvestto sendout laborersinto His harvest.
But the wordof the Lordcontinued to growand to be multiplied.
Sothe wordof the Lordwas growingmightilyand prevailing.
The wordof Godkept on spreading;and the numberof the disciplescontinued to increasegreatlyin Jerusalem,and a greatmanyof the priestswere becoming obedientto the faith.
NowI urgeyou, brethren,by our LordJesusChristand by the loveof the Spirit,to strive togetherwith me in your prayersto Godfor me,
for a widedoorfor effective[service] has openedto me, and there are manyadversaries.
you alsojoining in helpingus through your prayers,sothat thanks may be givenby manypersonson our behalffor the favorbestowedon us through[the prayers] [of] many.
Finally,brethren,rejoice,be made complete,be comforted,be like-minded,live in peace;and the Godof loveand peacewill be with you.
prayingat the same timefor us as well,that Godwill openup to us a doorfor the word,so that we may speak forththe mysteryof Christ,for whichI have alsobeen imprisoned;
for our gospeldid not cometo you in wordonly,but alsoin powerand in the HolySpiritand with fullconviction;justas you knowwhat kind of menwe provedto be amongyou for your sake.
For the wordof the Lordhas sounded forthfrom you, not onlyin Macedoniaand Achaia,but also in everyplaceyour faithtowardGodhas gone forth,sothat we havenoneedto sayanything.
For you yourselvesknow,brethren,that our comingto you was not in vain,
For thisreasonwe alsoconstantlythankGodthat when you receivedthe wordof Godwhichyou heardfrom us, you accepted[it] not [as] the wordof men,but [for] whatit reallyis, the wordof God,whichalsoperforms its workin you who believe.
Finallythen,brethren,we requestand exhortyou in the LordJesus,that as you receivedfrom us [instruction] as to howyou oughtto walkand pleaseGod(justas you actuallydo walk),that you excelstill more.
praywithout ceasing;
Brethren,prayfor us.
for whichI suffer hardshipevento imprisonmentas a criminal;but the wordof Godis not imprisoned.
