Therefore,beloved,since you lookfor these things,be diligentto be foundby Him in peace,spotlessand blameless,
Nowmay the Godof peaceHimselfsanctifyyou entirely;and may your spiritand souland bodybe preservedcomplete,without blameat the comingof our LordJesusChrist.
sothat He may establishyour heartswithout blamein holinessbeforeour Godand Fatherat the comingof our LordJesuswith allHis saints.
sothat you may approvethe things that are excellent,in orderto be sincereand blamelessuntilthe dayof Christ;
Therefore,my belovedbrethren,be steadfast,immovable,alwaysaboundingin the workof the Lord,knowingthat your toilis not [in] vainin the Lord.
And everyonewho hasthishope[fixed] on Him purifieshimself,justas He is pure.
whowill alsoconfirmyou to the end,blamelessin the dayof our LordJesusChrist.
sothat you will proveyourselves to be blamelessand innocent,childrenof Godabove reproachin the midstof a crookedand perversegeneration,amongwhomyou appearas lightsin the world,
soChristalso,having been offeredonceto bearthe sinsof many,will appeara second timefor salvationwithout[reference to] sin,to thosewho eagerly awaitHim.
"Blessedis that slavewhomhis masterfindssodoingwhen he comes.
"NowLord,You are releasingYour bond-servantto departin peace,Accordingto Your word;
Pureand undefiledreligionin the sightof [our] Godand Fatheris this:to visitorphansand widowsin their distress,[and] to keeponeselfunstainedby the world.
For our citizenshipis in heaven,from whichalsowe eagerly waitfor a Savior,the LordJesusChrist;
"Soifthey sayto you, 'Behold,He is in the wilderness,'do not goout, [or], 'Behold,He is in the inner rooms,'do not believe[them].
that you keepthe commandmentwithoutstainor reproachuntilthe appearingof our LordJesusChrist,
sothat the proofof your faith,[being] more preciousthan goldwhich is perishable,even thoughtestedby fire,may be foundto resultin praiseand gloryand honorat the revelationof JesusChrist;

as alsoin all[his] letters,speakingin them of these things,in whichare some thingshard to understand,whichthe untaughtand unstabledistort,as [they do] alsothe restof the Scriptures,to their owndestruction.
