"Tellthe sonsof Israelto raisea contributionfor Me; from everymanwhoseheartmoveshim you shall raiseMy contribution.
Takefrom among you a contributionto the LORD;whoeveris of a willingheart,let him bringit as the LORD'Scontribution:gold,silver,and bronze,
The generousmanwill be prosperous,And he who waterswill himselfbe watered.
He who is generouswill be blessed,For he givessomeof his foodto the poor.
Nolongerwill the foolbe callednoble,Or the roguebe spokenof [as] generous.
But the noblemandevisesnobleplans;And by nobleplanshe stands.
"In everythingI showedyou that by working hardin this manneryou musthelpthe weakand rememberthe wordsof the LordJesus,that He Himselfsaid,'It is moreblessedto givethanto receive.'"
orhe who exhorts,in his exhortation;he who gives,with liberality;he who leads,with diligence;he who shows mercy,with cheerfulness.
For ifthe readinessis present,it is acceptableaccordingto what [a person] has,not accordingto what he does not have.
"You shall furnishhim liberallyfrom your flockand from your threshingfloorand from your winevat;you shall giveto him as the LORDyour Godhas blessedyou.
but withoutyour consentI did not wantto doanything,sothat your goodnesswould not be, in effect,by compulsionbut of your own free will.
Do not complain,brethren,againstone another,sothat you yourselves may not be judged;behold,the Judgeis standingrightat the door.
Be hospitableto one anotherwithoutcomplaint.
