We have sent alongwith him the brotherwhosefamein [the things of] the gospel[has spread] throughallthe churches;
whofor my liferiskedtheir ownnecks,to whomnot onlydo I give thanks,but alsoallthe churchesof the Gentiles;
WhenI arrive,whomeveryou may approve,I will sendthem with lettersto carryyour giftto Jerusalem;
For thisreasonI have sentto you Timothy,whois my belovedand faithfulchildin the Lord,and he will remindyou of my wayswhich are in Christ,justas I teacheverywherein everychurch.
Only,as the Lordhas assignedto eachone,as Godhas calledeach,in thismannerlet him walk.And soI directin allthe churches.
I urgedTitus[to go], and I sentthe brotherwith him. Titusdid not take any advantageof you, did he? Did we not conduct ourselvesin the samespirit[and walk] in the samesteps?
Nowwhen I cameto Troasfor the gospelof Christand when a doorwas openedfor me in the Lord,
and not only[this], but he has alsobeen appointedby the churchesto travelwith us in thisgracious work,which is being administeredby us for the gloryof the LordHimself,and [to show] our readiness,
