Solomonspoketo allIsrael,to the commandersof thousandsand of hundredsand to the judgesand to everyleaderin allIsrael,the headsof the fathers'[households].
Now Hezekiahsentto allIsraeland Judahand wrotelettersalsoto Ephraimand Manasseh,that they should cometo the houseof the LORDat Jerusalemto celebratethe Passoverto the LORDGodof Israel.
Now manypeoplewere gatheredat Jerusalemto celebratethe Feastof UnleavenedBreadin the secondmonth,a verylargeassembly.
Then they slaughteredthe Passover[lambs] on the fourteenthof the secondmonth.And the priestsand Leviteswere ashamedof themselves, and consecratedthemselves and broughtburntofferingsto the houseof the LORD.
Then Josiahcelebratedthe Passoverto the LORDin Jerusalem,and they slaughteredthe Passover[animals] on the fourteenth[day] of the firstmonth.
Where thereis noguidancethe peoplefall,But in abundanceof counselorsthere is victory.
Withoutconsultation,plansare frustrated,But with manycounselorsthey succeed.
A pooryet wiseladis betterthanan oldand foolishkingwhonolongerknows[how] to receiveinstruction.
