He hadsevenhundredwives,princesses,and threehundredconcubines,and his wivesturnedhis heartaway.
He reignedthreeyearsin Jerusalem;and his mother'snamewas Maacahthe daughterof Abishalom.
He actedwiselyand distributedsomeof his sonsthroughallthe territoriesof Judahand Benjaminto allthe fortifiedcities,and he gavethem foodin abundance.And he soughtmanywives[for them].
