Then he lookedand behold,there was at his heada breadcake[baked on] hotstones,and a jarof water.So he ateand drankand laydownagain.
"It shall be that you will drinkof the brook,and I have commandedthe ravensto providefor you there."
The ravensbroughthim breadand meatin the morningand breadand meatin the evening,and he would drinkfrom the brook.
He laydownand sleptundera junipertree;and behold,therewas an angeltouchinghim, and he saidto him, "Arise,eat."
The angelof the LORDcameagaina secondtimeand touchedhim and said,"Arise,eat,becausethe journeyis toogreatfor you."
Trustin the LORDand dogood;Dwellin the landand cultivatefaithfulness.
He will dwellon the heights,His refugewill be the impregnablerock;His breadwill be given[him], His waterwill be sure.
a womancameto Him with an alabaster vialof very costlyperfume,and she pouredit on His headas He reclined[at the table].
Thenthe devilleftHim; and behold,angelscameand [began] to ministerto Him.
"For the Gentileseagerly seekallthese things;for your heavenlyFatherknowsthat you needallthese things.
SoJesussaidto them, "Children,you do not haveanyfish,do you?" They answeredHim, "No."
Sowhenthey gotout on the land,they sawa charcoal fire[already] laidand fishplacedon it, and bread.
