As they wentalongthe roadthey cameto somewater;and the eunuchsaid,"Look!Water!Whatpreventsme from being baptized?"
[And Philipsaid,"Ifyou believewith allyour heart,you may."And he answeredand said,"I believethat JesusChristis the Sonof God.]"
In the exercise of His willHe brought us forthby the wordof truth,sothat we would be a kindof first fruitsamong His creatures.
Blessedbe the Godand Fatherof our LordJesusChrist,who accordingto His greatmercyhas caused us to be born againto a livinghopethroughthe resurrectionof JesusChristfrom the dead,
The one who loveshis brotherabidesin the Lightand there is nocause for stumblingin him.
Ifyou knowthat He is righteous,you knowthat everyonealsowho practicesrighteousnessis bornof Him.
We knowthat we have passedout of deathinto life,becausewe lovethe brethren.He who does not loveabidesin death.
But whoeverhasthe world'sgoods,and seeshis brotherin needand closeshis heartagainsthim, howdoes the loveof Godabidein him?
Noonewho is bornof Godpracticessin,becauseHis seedabidesin him; and he cannotsin,becausehe is bornof God.
By thisyou knowthe Spiritof God:everyspiritthat confessesthat JesusChristhas comein the fleshis from God;
Ifsomeonesays,"I loveGod,"and hateshis brother,he is a liar;for the one who does not lovehis brotherwhomhe has seen,cannotloveGodwhomhe has not seen.
Beloved,let us loveone another,for loveis from God;and everyonewho lovesis bornof Godand knowsGod.
We knowthat noonewho is bornof Godsins;but He who was bornof Godkeepshim, and the evil onedoes not touchhim.
For whateveris bornof Godovercomesthe world;and thisis the victorythat has overcomethe world--our faith.
Whois the one who overcomesthe world,but he who believesthat Jesusis the Sonof God?
