As for you, the anointingwhichyou receivedfrom Him abidesin you, and you havenoneedfor anyoneto teachyou; but as His anointingteachesyou aboutall things,and is true and is not a lie,and justas it has taughtyou, you abidein Him.
Evilmendo not understandjustice,But those who seekthe LORDunderstandallthings.
Thisis that whichis consecratedto Aaronand that whichis consecratedto his sonsfrom the offeringsby fireto the LORD,in that daywhen he presentedthem to serveas prieststo the LORD.
his offering[was] onesilverdishwhose weight[was] one hundredand thirty[shekels], onesilverbowlof seventyshekels,according to the shekelof the sanctuary,bothof them fullof fineflourmixedwith oilfor a grain offering;
Jesus answeredthem, "To you it has been grantedto knowthe mysteriesof the kingdomof heaven,but to them it has not been granted.
"I will askthe Father,and He will giveyou anotherHelper,that He may be with you forever;
[that is] the Spiritof truth,whomthe worldcannotreceive,becauseit does not seeHim orknowHim, [but] you knowHim becauseHe abideswith you and will be in you.
"But the Helper,the HolySpirit,whomthe Fatherwill sendin My name,He will teachyou allthings,and bring to your remembranceallthat I saidto you.
"But whenHe, the Spiritof truth,comes,He will guideyou into allthe truth;for He will not speakon His own initiative,but whateverHe hears,He will speak;and He will discloseto you what is to come.
but whoeverdrinksof the waterthat I will givehim shall neverthirst;but the waterthat I will givehim will becomein him a wellof waterspringingup to eternallife."
"It is writtenin the prophets,AND THEY SHALL ALLBE TAUGHTOF GOD.'Everyonewho has heardand learnedfrom the Father,comesto Me.
Nowwe have received,not the spiritof the world,but the Spiritwhois from God,sothat we may knowthe things freely givento us by God,
whichthings we alsospeak,not in wordstaughtby humanwisdom,but in those taughtby the Spirit,combiningspiritual[thoughts] with spiritual[words].
NowHe who establishesus with you in Christand anointedus is God,
ifindeedyou have heardHim and have been taughtin Him, justas truthis in Jesus,
Thereforeas you have receivedChristJesusthe Lord,[so] walkin Him,
For thisreasonwe alsoconstantlythankGodthat when you receivedthe wordof Godwhichyou heardfrom us, you accepted[it] not [as] the wordof men,but [for] whatit reallyis, the wordof God,whichalsoperforms its workin you who believe.
Nowas to the love of the brethren,you havenoneedfor [anyone] to writeto you, for you yourselvesare taught by Godto loveone another;
For thisI was appointeda preacherand an apostle(I am tellingthe truth,I am not lying)as a teacherof the Gentilesin faithand truth.
for you have been born againnot of seedwhich is perishablebut imperishable,[that is], throughthe livingand enduringwordof God.
Now,little children,abidein Him, sothat whenHe appears,we may haveconfidenceand not shrinkawayfrom Him in shameat His coming.
The one who keepsHis commandmentsabidesin Him, and He in him. We knowby thisthat He abidesin us, by the SpiritwhomHe has givenus.
for the sakeof the truthwhich abidesin us and will be with us forever:
