The one who loveshis brotherabidesin the Lightand there is nocause for stumblingin him.
Those who loveYour lawhave greatpeace,And nothingcauses them to stumble.
"So let us know,let us presson to knowthe LORD.His goingforthis as certainas the dawn;And He will cometo us like the rain,Like the springrainwateringthe earth."
yethe hasno[firm] rootin himself,but is [only] temporary,and when afflictionorpersecutionarisesbecauseof the word,immediatelyhe falls away.
"Woeto the worldbecauseof [its] stumblingblocks!For it is inevitablethat stumbling blockscome;but woeto that manthroughwhomthe stumbling blockcomes!
Jesusanswered,"Are therenot twelvehoursin the day?Ifanyonewalksin the day,he does not stumble,becausehe seesthe lightof thisworld.
SoJesussaidto them, "For a littlewhilelongerthe Lightis amongyou. Walkwhileyou havethe Light,sothat darknesswill not overtakeyou; he who walksin the darknessdoes not knowwherehe goes.
SoJesuswas sayingto thoseJewswho had believedHim, "Ifyou continuein My word,[then] you are trulydisciplesof Mine;
Thereforelet us not judgeone anotheranymore,but ratherdeterminethis--not to putan obstacleora stumbling blockin a brother'sway.
sothat you may approvethe things that are excellent,in orderto be sincereand blamelessuntilthe dayof Christ;
Therefore,brethren,be all the morediligentto makecertainabout His callingand choosingyou; for as long as you practicethese things,you will neverstumble;
But the one who hateshis brotheris in the darknessand walksin the darkness,and does not knowwherehe is goingbecausethe darknesshas blindedhis eyes.
We knowthat we have passedout of deathinto life,becausewe lovethe brethren.He who does not loveabidesin death.
