Let twoorthreeprophetsspeak,and let the otherspass judgment.
Nowthere were at Antioch,in the churchthat was [there], prophetsand teachers:Barnabas,and Simeonwho was calledNiger,and Luciusof Cyrene,and Manaenwho had been broughtup with Herodthe tetrarch,and Saul.
and to anotherthe effectingof miracles,and to anotherprophecy,and to anotherthe distinguishingof spirits,to another[various] kindsof tongues,and to anotherthe interpretationof tongues.
IfI have[the gift of] prophecy,and knowallmysteriesand allknowledge;and ifI haveallfaith,soas to removemountains,but do not havelove,I amnothing.
but ifthere is nointerpreter,he must keep silentin the church;and let him speakto himselfand to God.
But ifa revelation is madeto anotherwho is seated,the firstone must keep silent.
and the spiritsof prophetsare subjectto prophets;
Ifanyonethinkshe is a prophetorspiritual,let him recognizethat the things whichI writeto you are the Lord'scommandment.
Therefore,my brethren,desire earnestlyto prophesy,and do not forbidto speakin tongues.
