Now someof them had chargeof the utensilsof service,for they countedthem when they broughtthem in and when they tookthem out.
The Levites,their relatives,had chargeof the treasuresof the houseof Godand of the treasuresof the dedicatedgifts.
They spentthe nightaroundthe houseof God,becausethe watchwas committedto them; and they [were] in chargeof opening[it] morningby morning.
Someof them also were appointedoverthe furnitureand overallthe utensilsof the sanctuaryand overthe fineflourand the wineand the oiland the frankincenseand the spices.
On that daymenwere also appointedoverthe chambersfor the stores,the contributions,the firstfruitsand the tithes,to gatherinto them from the fieldsof the citiesthe portionsrequired by the lawfor the priestsand Levites;for Judahrejoicedoverthe priestsand Leviteswho served.
and they shall takeallthe utensilsof service,with whichthey servein the sanctuary,and putthem in a blueclothand coverthem with a coveringof porpoiseskin,and putthem on the carryingbars.
